All 13 tracks were recorded with new Huber Banjos, and played by some high profile pickers: Sammy Shelor, Jim Mills, Ron Stewart, Steve Huber and John Lawless. | Great care was taken during the recording sessions to accurately capture the true sound and response of these instruments. All of the banjo tracks were recorded using a vintage, 1967 Neumann U-67 microphone with its original power supply. No compression or equalization was used on the banjos and careful measurements were followed to ensure that the microphone placement was identical for each picker on each track. Team Flathead is an enhanced audio CD, with additional features which can be accessed by inserting the CD into your computer .
